Chinese coloratura soprano Haojin Mo is currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts in Voice Performance at the University of Miami Frost School of Music under the tutelage of Sandra Lopez Neill. Her academic foundation includes a Master of Music from the Mannes School of Music, where she refined her craft with Diana Soviero and Chelsea Bonagura, following early studies at the China Conservatory of Music.

Active on stages throughout Asia, Europe, and the United States, Haojin’s notable roles include the Queen of the Night in The Magic Flute with Amore Opera in New York, La Fée in Cendrillon at the Miami Music Festival, Mademoiselle Silberklang in Der Schauspieldirektor with Florida Grand Opera, and Lakmé in Lakmé with Chicago Summer Opera. She also made a prestigious appearance at Vienna’s Musikverein in 2025. Her versatile repertoire spans classic and modern works, featuring characters such as Olympia in Les Contes d’Hoffmann, Adele in Die Fledermaus, Elvira in I Puritani, Blonde in Die Entführung aus dem Serail, and the Controller in Jonathan Dove’s Flight.

She gained widespread attention following a vocal masterclass with soprano Jennifer Rowley, when a video of her performance went viral across social media platforms, garnering millions of views and reaching audiences internationally.

As a CANTO Artist with Florida Grand Opera, she returned in 2026 for her second year with the program and performed the duet from Delibes’ Lakmé at the Richard Tucker Music Foundation’s 50th Anniversary Gala – Miami Edition.

Her competition honors include being named a District Winner of the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition in the Colorado-Wyoming District and a semifinalist in the Premier Opera Foundation Competition.
